Gotz

Long before Gotz became an artist name, there was a child listening to all the rhythms in places where most people heard only noise.

A table was never just a table. A pencil, a glass, a car indicator or the restless tapping of fingers could become part of a drum pattern. That habit never disappeared. Even today, Gotz can catch himself unconsciously knocking out beats in the middle of an ordinary moment, as though some part of his mind is always producing, whether he has opened his DAW or not.

He calls it the music bug.

He was bitten early, and he never recovered.

His musical journey moved through instruments, stages and genres. He studied violin and piano, learned guitar, drums and bass, and spent years playing in bands that travelled between rock, funk, jazz and metal. Each world left something behind: the energy of live drums, the tension of a heavy guitar, the freedom of improvisation, the emotional pull of melody and the unspoken connection between musicians who know exactly where a song is going without saying a word.

But even while playing music with other people, Gotz was quietly building a world of his own.

One of his first studios was not a studio at all. It was a PlayStation 1 running a music creation "game" called Music 2000. Later came FL Studio 6 and the discovery that an entire song could begin with almost nothing - a rhythm, a chord, a strange sound or a sentence that refused to leave his head.

That process became addictive.

The first empty project. The first few notes. A beat slowly finding its pulse. Humming becoming words, words becoming lyrics. Separate pieces turning into something that did not exist the day before.

For Gotz, finishing a song still brings the same childlike excitement. It is more than a fancy production, and more than entertainment. It is the feeling of pulling a complete emotional world out of silence. And enjoying it with his soul.

For a long time, much of that music remained private.

Gotz spent decades learning, experimenting, creating and singing without feeling the need to release everything. He worked behind the scenes of sound and production, surrounded by studios, live programmes and creative environments, while continuing to make his own pieces of magic away from the spotlight. It is the art afterall, and all the art is free to make for anybody who feel like making it.

The artist was always there. He simply took the long road towards being heard.

That road included difficult periods, abundant periods and the kind of personal growth that rarely happens neatly. Gotz does not turn his private life into gossip or explain every scar. The details are less important than the lesson they left behind.

For too long, he believed happiness would arrive from somewhere outside himself, that another person, a new circumstance or one perfect moment would appear and finally make everything feel right.

Eventually, he understood that nobody was coming to design his life for him. A trap many fall into but few escape.

Peace had to be created, protected and managed from within.

That realisation became the emotional foundation of his music.

Gotz creates from the belief that life can hurt without becoming hopeless. Disappointment can change you without defining you. A painful chapter does not have to become the entire story. Happiness is not the absence of difficult moments; it is the decision to keep building a life that still feels worth living.

That philosophy lives inside his sound.

Contemporary R&B is his foundation, but Gotz refuses to keep it inside one box. Subtle trap rhythms meet melodic pop, tropical textures and the atmosphere of Mediterranean summers. His songs carry the colours of warm evenings, sandy beaches, open water, good company, emotional honesty and conversations that continue long after everyone else has gone home.

There is pleasure in the music, but it is not empty escapism.

The sunshine means more because the night existed first.

His songs are especially written for people who feel deeply, for women who have been disappointed by life or love but have not stopped believing in something better. Gotz does not pretend that one song can solve another person’s life. He offers something more honest: a reminder that healing is possible, peace can be rebuilt and beauty can return when you decide to give yourself and life another chance.
